This entrance examplifies the great symphony between textures and patterns. The ceiling compliments so well the light fixture. The leather couch works wonderfully at keeping the room grounded. On opposite, a bench under a modern console. All elements are there. Now is it practical to put hardwood in an entrance? The reason I posted this picture in the midst of unusual pieces was the fact that the ceiling was wallpapered! Highly unusual (please call a professional and save your marriage!!). Wallpaper on the ceiling very much draws attention upwards which creates a sense of drama, and height in any room. The lighter, the better if you want to give the room a feeling of height!
