So today I was out and about and went to one of my favourite antique Mecca of Toronto.. Authentic antiques, not reproductions, no frou frou, no melamine, nothing but the real deal..I love how they work on highlighting artwork with furniture around it creating fabulously composed vignettes.. Here are some images from Ribbehege & Azevedo (maybe I never mentionned them before because i still dont know how to pronounce the name of this store... They are located on 1200 Castelfield Ave, Toronto. 416-651-1171..Go by sometime if you can...enjoy!!

Hodgepodge of images saved this week. have a fab weekend!
just a quick note to wish my readers a great weekend.. here are a few inspirational shots I have gathered! Dont forget about giving your home a little TLC:)
Designer: Saltzer- Great backsplash- I will have to find a similar one out there:)
New Year apartment vignette- David Netto (great flooring-art deco inspired)
Via Dorsey Miller- Who ever said purple was a no-go? not me! Especially when foiled with caramel and honey tones
Via Dorsey Miller- I cannot get enough of how classy stripes are. Its like a dress shirt on a man. It brings masculinity with an edge.

Updating whats around me!
Dear friends, I invite you today to look throughout your house and revisit what you use to love and own, and put into boxes in your attic forever to be forgotten... Instead, see what you can change, take out of boxes, rearrange, re-organize, and rebuild. In light of my personal life, this step has been a breath of fresh air. Art heals, and clearly I'm the most creative when i'm in turmoil. Sometimes its about reaching deep down and pulling everything to the surface to reorganize. Maybe I should have invited Freud to this cleansing process! Enjoy:)
