Glitz and glam

Dear Readers, I came across this stunning picture! Gold, pinks and blues, glitz, warmth and sexiness! It had intensity and movement, therefore I decided to create a room around it! The colours used are subtle, and work in symphony to pick up and be in harmony with the photo! You could do the same at home with your favourite piece of artwork or photograph!

Have fun!

Artform into food?

This post is inspired by our great love for food. Being from France, it has been a huge part of my upbringing. Eating right from the vegetable garden, everything was always prepared with great love. My mom, and my grand mother (from Italian origins) are amazing chefs. At Artform, we present our food on white plates to mimic a blank canvas! The food pops out, and it becomes a feast to the eye! We also love hearing the food sizzle, the smells, stewing, frying, searing, chopping.. We cant find a more therapeutic activity only to be enjoyed by your loved ones!.. Its a real pleasure to cook under our roof! Here are a few images I came across that I not only find delectable to look at, but inspired me artistically!

Bon appetit!

Artist Joan Mitchell (February 12, 1925 – October 30, 1992)

Beloved readers... I have been featuring a few Joan Mitchell's work within my designs as I find her to be an incredible artist... Joan Mitchell (February 12, 1925 – October 30, 1992) was a "second generation" abstract expressionist painter. She was an essential member of the American Abstract expressionist movement, even though much of her career took place in France. [1] Along with Lee Krasner, Grace Hartigan, and Helen Frankenthaler she was one of her era's few female painters to gain critical and public acclaim. Her paintings and editioned prints can be seen in major museums and collections across America and Europe. (Wikipedia)

Here is my living room around one of her great painting!

Nudes!

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting great artist Jeanette Hubbell from Atlanta, US (artjeanette@hotmail.com). Jeanette has an amazing eye for colour, a great range of artwork, from abtracts to portraits and her nudes are amazingly graceful and full of movement! As you all know I think nudes are so sexy especially in bedrooms, and always a little racy for the average household! If it also appeals to you, dont hold back! The human body is beautiful! Dont hide it:)

Here is a new master bedroom is created around this stunning nude she created!

Enjoy!
